Ms. Tallent’s role with FUTURES REHAB has been Clinical Director for 19 years and currently Consultant and special projects leader for the past 3 years.

Ms. Tallent is a graduate of San Jose State, with a BS degree in Occupational Therapy. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology. She has provided Occupational Therapy services in both in-patient and out-patient settings, which includes treatment for neurologic and orthopedic conditions. Services addressed treatment to enhance self-care functional abilities and conditions associated with pain and dysfunction in the shoulders, arms and hands. She has provided Industrial Rehabilitation, Injury prevention and consultation services for over 30 years, providing Ergonomics, Occupational Health and Injury Prevention Consulting for patients, employees and employers. She has extensive knowledge and experience in Job Analysis, and has conducted this work for a broad variety of industries including public service, manufacturing, technology, agriculture, education and food production. She is an educator and has extensive experience in ergonomic assessments and training safe work practices. Clients have included companies and employers throughout Sonoma County, the Bay area, throughout California, and two other states. She has provided extensive Occupational Health screening services, including post-offer/pre-employment testing. She has been a leader in Fitness for Duty Testing related to the physical demands associated with essential duty tasks. She actively consults and provides Functional Capacity Evaluations.
